FAQsWhat scents are available? We currently offer over 150 scents in bath, body and candle products. See our Scent List for a list of current scents and descriptions. If there is a custom scent you'd like please feel free to email us and we will try to accommodate your request as best as possible. Do you carry any pre-made products in stock? Yes, we currently carry some pre-made products under the "FAST BUYS" tab. These products are ready to ship within 48 hrs as long as there are no no other items (custom made) products ordered with it. Currently we are making all our bath and body products fresh when ordered. Some of our tarts are pre-made (to allow for curing) however, not all of our tart scents are pre-made. What is your turnaround time? Our turnaround time (TAT) varies, with each week. We post our current turnaround time on the website under "Turnaround TIme". Please note that Turnaround Time is calculated in Business Days not Calendar Days. Turnaround times are only estimates and usually run longer during times of sales and holidays. Turnaround time is essentially the time it takes for us to make your order and package it. Turnaround time does not include shipping time, weekends, or holidays. We will do everything possible to get your package out as soon as possible. Please feel free to email us concerning the current status of your order. Are there other methods of shipping? We only offer USPS Priority Mail via the website. We only charge exact shipping. In the event the shopping cart over charges you for shipping, we will refund the difference once your order has shipped. Domestic Flat Rate Boxes are available in the regular sized box $9.85 or large sized box $13.10. If you select a domestic flat rate shipping method and your order does not fit we will invoice you for the difference in shipping. Once that invoice is paid your order will ship. However, in the event you need your order shipped faster please contact us to see what methods we can provide for you. International Shipping - If you wish to have your order shipped outside of the United States, please select "LOCAL DELIVERY" and we will email you a separate invoice for shipping. Pacific Scents will ship your package the cheapest way possible if shipping internationally. If you would like a shipping quote prior to placing your order please email us at info@pacificscents.com with your order. We will send you a shipping quote. Do you accept returns? No, due to the nature of our products (custom made) we cannot accept returns. Tart Burners that are received broken or non-functioning may be exchanged. Exchanges for Tart Burners are accepted within seven (7) calendar days. Item must be returned (unused) in the same packaging you received it in. You must contact Pacific Scents within 72 hrs of receipt of your package if you wish to return a Tart Burner. The cost to ship your tart burner back will be refunded to you once the tart burner is received. We want to satisfy each customer and under special circumstances will work with you to find a solution. If you haven't tried a particular scent and wish to do so, please request that in an email along with your order number. We will try to include a sample of that scent in your order. (Quantity of samples are based on the size of your order.) If you wish to get more than a sniffy sample we suggest you try our smaller sized products. Do you offer samples? Absolutely! We include samples in each paid order. The number and type of samples you receive depends on the size of your order. If there is a particular scent you would like to try please email us along with your order number (immediately after placing your order) so that we can try and include that with your shipment. If you are a retailer or wish to sample items for a wholesale account please email us or our terms. Do you offer wholesale accounts? Of course! If you are interested in our terms please feel free to contact us. We will work with you (no matter how small or big). How long does it take to receive my order? Shipping times vary. We ship all domestic orders via USPS Priority Mail. The US Postal Service estimates 2-3 business days, however there have been some instances where it has taken significantly longer with the most being 14 days. You should receive a Click N Ship notification via USPS with a Delivery Confirmation number. In the event that you do not please feel free to email us at info@pacificscents.com with your order number and name and we will be happy to send you your delivery confirmation number. Can I custom color my order? YES! If you wish to custom color your candle, bath or body product please email us! How do I need to care for my candle? Please keep candles away from children and pets. Please place your candle on a candle plate. Your first burn should be about three (3) hours or enough to get a full melt pool (this will help prevent tunneling or drowning out of your wick.) Keep your wick trimmed to about a 1/4 of a inch to prevent sooting. Sooting is a natural occurance with some wicks, it is not indicative of a type of wax (soy candles with certain wicks or oils do soot!) Keep your candles out of drafts! Never leave your candle unattended! Never burn candles longer than five hours. If you are burning container candles please keep an eye on how hot your glass gets. If the glass gets too hot it is possible for it to crack or explode. Never move a candle while there is melted hot/warm wax. Wait till your wax is completely cooled and hardened before moving a candle. Candle wax CAN and WILL stain fabrics and rugs so keep away from it! Do you do fundraisers? YES we do! We've done two (2) fundraisers in the Houston area and are very willing do do more! Contact us at info@pacificsents.com Do you do home parties? Yes we do! We do home parties and birthday parties! Please contact us for more information. What type of wax do you use? We use a combination of soy and paraffin. We like to use both because each has very good properties. We've taken the long and clean burning properties of soy and combined them with the high fragrance load and nice appearance of paraffin. We blend our own wax so you won't find anything else out there on the market like ours! |
